Dieses Buch ist sehr teuer, keine Frage. Dafür steht auf sehr vielen Seiten auch sehr viel drin. Wer viele Fragen hat und alles ganz genau wissen will, sollte sich dieses Buch zulegen. Nicht nur für Wissenschaftler geeignet, sondern auch für Leute, die sich z.b. ein altes Haus kaufen wollen und nicht alles dem Zufall überlassen möchten. Z.B. Wasserschäden (woher sie kommen und wie man sie vermeidet), es werden Baustoffe erklärt, wie gedämmt werden soll usw., es sind viele Bilder und Beispiele drin. Alles auf wissenschaftlicher Basis und nicht von Hobbyhandwerkern geschrieben (was beim Springer Verlag wohl auch zu erwarten ist).Es gibt nur einen Stern Abzug, weil ich finde, dass die Seiten etwas dünn sind. Sie sind ok, aber es schimmert doch etwas durch , was ich nicht so gut finde, bei einem so teuren Buch. Und die Fotos könnten hochwertiger sein (auch vom Druck).Aber ansonsten hat es meine Erwartungen übertroffen.
